TIME TO HAVE A COFFEE BREAK! LET’S TALK OVER COFFEE!!
Today, I will introduce the shop where I have visited on 29th May 2016 first time.
TRUNK COFFEE is located in Nagoya city, Aichi. There is not that far from Nagoya or Sakae station. And this TRUNK COFFEE is one of famous coffee shop in Nagoya so if you have a chance to go Nagoya, please try to go there. And also they have a shop which is specialty coffee and craft beer, if you interested in that shop please try to find and get there.
TRUNK COFFEE is the almost first shop to use Aeropress in Japan actually, and the owner of this shop is started Aeropress champion ship in Japan. It is called J.A.C. and I entered that competition in 2019 in Osaka. It was really good to challenge some new things for me. I will write about that moment soon later…
Anyway, if you want to drink a coffee with aeropress method, you can go there for it. They have a lineup for nordic roast coffee with some specialty coffee beans. Of cause you can choose pour over and espresso in there.
About Roasting machine, they are using PROBAT, it is inside that shop so you can see over there if you want.

今日は2016年5月29日に初めて伺ったお店の紹介をします。
TRUNK COFFEEさんは愛知県名古屋市のあり、名古屋駅や栄駅からも近いので電車で行く事が出来ます。また、このTRUNK COFFEEさんは名古屋で有名なお店で、もし名古屋を訪れる事があれば是非伺ってみてください。同じ系列でCOFFEEとクラフトビールのお店も名古屋市中区あたりにあるので、是非そちらも探してみてください。
TRUNK COFFEEさんは日本国内でaeropressを早い段階から使用されていたお店です。一番最初かどうか調査出来ていないです。バリスタ兼オーナーさんはこのaeropressを使ったコーヒーの大会通称J.A.C(Japan Aeropress Championship)を運営されている方でもあります。個人的に2019年の大阪予選に参加させてもらい、とても良い経験となりました。その内容は近々書かせて頂きます。。。
もしあなたがaeropressで淹れたコーヒーを飲んだ事がないのであれば、是非一度このお店に伺って試してみてください。お店にはもちろんスペシャルティコーヒーがいくつか用意されており、浅煎りの豆も選ぶ事が出来ます。エアロプレス と浅煎りの豆の相性はとても良いので、是非！もちろんお店ではドリップコーヒーやエスプレッソも飲む事が出来ます。
焙煎機はプロバットを使用しており、お店の中にありますので是非興味がある方は伺ってみてください。
